If you have received this message when you called somebody, it means that the person you tried to call is no longer using that phone, or they are out of minutes.
That the number is unassigned or disconnected.
This has more than one possible meaning. It may mean that you keyed in the number incorrectly and didn't notice. It may mean that your friend has not been paying his phone bill and the phone company has cut him off. It may mean that your friend changed his or her number without telling you.
It either means they are out of the service area, or they do not have voicemail is what Telus told me.... their # still is on but they have the phone off
what does wire service mean
This just means that the person, usually on behalf of an organisation, will offer an apology for the consequences of something which was not your fault and beyond your control. An example would be where a mobile phone service provider temporarily had to cease providing connections due to a technical hitch and as this meant you could not receive or make calls for a short time, they are sorry for the inconvenience this would have caused to you.
I expect the actual message is:"The number you have dialled is temporarily not in service."It means what it says. That it's a valid phone number, but that it's not working at the moment - probably because of a temporary fault.
They are out of service
That the number is unassigned or disconnected.
It can mean that the number has been disconnected; that the owner of the phone has temporarily disconnected it; that there has been a mixup of phone numbers, that the phone neeeds repair work; or that the phone is in the process of obtaining a new number.
It means you have either dialed a dissconnected number or you are trying to make a long distance call and you forgot to dial a 1 or a 0 plus the area code of the number you are calling.
unallocated means not assigned but it still doesn't answer the real question how is a number calling you that isn't assigned to anybody or company
The owner didnt pay their phone bill and their service got cut off (temporarily or permanently).
That the number is unassigned or disconnected.
It could mean that the number you dialed is not valid. A number can be invalid for many reasons:Too many/few numbers dialed.Incorrect area codeIncorrect country codeNot in exsistance/issuedand many more

You may mean 'temporarily' which is only for a short while.
