It could either be the gauge in the dash or the sender unit in the fuel tank.
My 2001 bonny would read from full--- to 1/2 full tank, below 1/2 no reading, a new sending unit from GM will cost you $600.... but you can order a kit from GM that cost $40 to repair it The kit comes with a new sending unit trunk seal, a small circuit board, and a small plastic swiper arm, i just switched arms, the tiny metal fingers on the old one had worn away, unit works great.
=A Gage is gun a 12 gage=
Fuel [Petrol] Gauges that Fail to WorkAlthough there could be one or more other causes for a fuel/Petrol gauge to fail to work, the answer is YES, a "blown" fuse could cause the gauge to not work.
You would need to use alternative method of checking the fuel level, such as dipping the tank.
Fuel gauge problems are usually the fault of the fuel gauge sending unit in the fuel tank, just saying.
A fuel gauge.
It is hard to gauge exactly how long the meeting will take.A petrol gauge is an instrument to show how much petrol or diesel is in the vehicle's fuel tank, which helps to avoid running out of fuel.
Drive and see how long it lasts.
