The ribosomes are the part of the cell that are in charge of building proteins. This process is called Protein Biosynthesis. Inside ribosomes, the appropriate molecules join to form protein chains.

It carries genetic information from the gene (DNA) out of the nucleus, into the cytoplasm of the cell where it is translated to produce protein. Proteins are created by ribosomes translating mRNA into polypeptide chains. These polypeptide chains undergo PTM (Posttranslational modification) to give the mature protein.
