Chemistry is important in both education and communication. While the two may not seem to have much in common, when it comes to chemistry they do. You could not even write without chemistry, since chemistry is used to make ink. You would not clean your hands during lunch period without chemistry to make the soap. You would not be able to call your friends of family, without the chemistry that was used to make your phone's battery.

When their is a natural chemistry between two people who are communicating it is often easier because they understand exactly what the other one is trying to say. They often approach a problem in the same way and that helps to eliminate arguments on the best way to proceed.

Chemistry has a big role in the field of food in making certain experiments for developing various foods; How to preserve foods, add some colorings and adding some substances to enhance a certain flavor of a certain food. This discipline also encompasses how products change under certain food processing techniques and ways either to enhance or to prevent them from happening. An example of enhancing a process would be to encourage fermentation of dairy products with microorganisms that convert lactose to lactic acid; an example of preventing a process would be stopping the browning on the surface of freshly cut Red Delicious apples using lemon juice or other acidulate water. A good example is food additives. Food additives are substances added to food for preserving flavors, or improving taste or appearance. These processes are as old as adding vinegar for pickling or as an emulsifier for emulsion mixtures like mayonnaise. Some additives are manufactured from natural sources such as soybeans and corn, which provide lecithin to maintain product consistency, or beets, which provide beet powder used as food coloring. Other additives are man-made. Artificial additives can be produced more economically, with greater purity and more consistent quality than some of their natural counterparts.
