Actually The small intestine is not connected to the stomach. Between the stomach and the small intestine is the Duodendum.
At the end of the small intestine the colon, or large intestine begins.
the ileo-caecal valve
ileum
The small intestine then ends in the large intestine, where it deposits undigestible materials. In the large intestine, water and minerals are reabsorbed and then the waste is excreted.
The digestive system.
Digestion starts in the mouth and continues in the stomach. The small intestine completes the digestion process.
Most chemical digestion occurs in the stomach and absorption occur in the intestines in humans and many other animals.
It's not the structure itself, but rather the enzymes and other chemicals secreted in these structures that digests food. These areas are:mouth (carbohydrates)stomach (proteins)small intestine (everything except proteins)
I am tempted towards the stomach and small intestine but in actual fact there is no two more important than any other. All the digestive organs are vital in digestion.
Directly after the stomach, food enters the duodenum, which is the first part of the small intestine.
the Duodenum
By the excretory system.
No, although the liver and the stomach are right next to each other they are still separateorgans
Yes because it will digest your food and then send it to the stomach
The Difference is that the stomach is a part of the digestive system and so is the small intestine but the small intestine connects the stomach to the Large intestine where everything bad is put through as for the stomach it collects all of the food you eat and te grinds it down into nutrients and other stuff for your body and then those nutrients go through the small intestine to the large intestine which is where all the bad waste will eventually be deposited :D x Sarah :D x 9a (this is for you) LMAO !!:D :D :D
