Depolarization
Depolarization is the first event in action potential. During depolarization, the sodium gates open and the membrane depolarizes.
what is step and touch potential?

There are two steps to the division of a eukaryotic cell. Since it has a nucleus, the first step is mitosis, the splitting of the nucleus. The second step is cytokinesis, the splitting of the rest of the cell, where the cell membrane gets pinched inward to divide into two new cells.
to identify all potential hazards associated with each step, including hazards directly connected with the job and equipment, and those potential environmental hazards

Stone gravel is used in switchyards as a protective layer to prevent weed growth, erosion, and to discourage rodent activity. It also provides good drainage and helps in ensuring proper grounding of equipment in the switchyard.
1. Resting potential: all voltage-gates are closed. 2. At threshold, Sodium activation gate opens and Sodium permeability rises. 3. Sodium enters the cell (influx), causing an explosive depolarization to +30 mV, which generation the rising phase of action potential. 4. At peak of action potential, sodium activation gate closes and sodium permeability falls, which reduces the net movement of sodium into the cell. At the same time potassium activation gate opens and potassium permeability rises. . 5. Potassium leaves the cell (efflux), causing the repolarization to resting potential, which generates the falling phase of action potential. 6. On return to resting potential, sodium activation gates closes and inactivation gates opens, resetting channel for another depolarizing triggering event. 7. Further outward movement of potassium through still open potassium channels briefly hyperpolarize membrane, 8. Potassium activation gate closes and membrane returns to resting potential
my understanding is he can go back but he has to step on third base as he returns to second base and after touching second base he can finish running the rest of the bases heading for home.
when you are going up a hill by walking you are converting your potential energy into kinetic energy with every step and also storing more and more potential energy with every step if you stop after every step but if you are walking with a certain velocity you possess kinetic energy . At the top of the hill when you stop you possess maximum potential energy.
It means that the dead should be left alone to rest.
