Of course it's always possible to do something to adversly affect your car and if you've suspected the dealer of trying to switch your purchase, it's understandable that you would suspect them of doing something like this. At the same time there are things other than alignment or a deliberate sabotage that could cause your car to pull to the side. One of the most simple is simply having a lower tire pressure on one tire. Check the pressures first, maybe it could be that simple. Also make certain that you haven't hit a pothole or something like that since you had the tires changed. If you did --or someone else did without telling you-- you could have affected the alignment in this way.

Q: The tire shop did a bait and switch so I insisted on the promised tires now the car veers to the left and I wonder if it possible to mess up the car's alignment on purpose when installing new tires?
