When challenged by skeptics, the hadith record that Muhammad denied being able to perform any miracles. He admitted that although other prophets before him were given the power of performing miracles, his only miracle was the Qur'an. The Qur'an itself contains many surah that justify the non-performance of miracles in Muhammad's time. Nevertheless, miracles such as the "Moon splitting miracle" are widely believed by Muslims.
The prophet Muhammad PBUH had many miracles during His life. Two examples as required are:
1. The Holy Quran, which is the most important everlasting miracle.
2. The prophet's Night Journey from Mecca to Jerusalem (Isra'a) then His Ascent to the Heavens (Miraj).
Yes, he did. For example, the night journey from Makkah to Jerusalem then from there to Heavens & back.
However, it is to be emphasized that the main Islamic Miracle of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the holy book Quran that is revealed to him by God through the angel Gabriel (Jibril). Quran includes many scientific miracles that were only validated by the current advances in science and technology. Quran is the everlasting miracle until the Resurrection Day. Other prophet miracles could be denied by unbelievers since they were not present when happened but Quran drives many to convert into Islam till present when they feel the Quran miraculous facts.
refer to question below.
When Muhammad was born miracles happened such as; a light arose in Makah that could be seen as far as Syria; a Jew in Madeena saw a very bright star appear; a sacred fire that had been burning for years was finally able to be extinguished and all the idols in the kabah crumbled.
One most important miracle that is till clear today is the Quran, it has countless scientific miracles written in it, such as clearly describing the form and steps of the baby inside the womb, and another one is about the core of earth having iron which was from a collision with another object/planet and the iron sunk to the middle, how there is a different type of water when salt mixes with fresh in the sea, how the ocean has waves under waves, and then darkness, scientists recently discovered there are more waves that have their own movement underneath the surface waves, and below that level is darkness.....The list goes on and on, you can find these in the Quran.
No one can perform miracles except God! You need to understand that God is the only one that is almighty.

A:The assumption is that people have ever been able to perform miracles. Generally, the mainstream Christian religions assume that living persons do not now perform miracles. However, an important custom in the Catholic Church is the acknowledgement of posthumous miracles supposedly performed by saints, or at least performed as a result of their intercession. Reports of such miracles are constantly being reported, especially for candidates for canonisation.
