In The Bible, 'archangel' is mentioned in two places:
Michael is the chief (arch) angel: "Michael and his angels fought against the dragon (the Devil and Satan)..." Revelation 12:7-9 KJV
Elsewhere the Bible speaks of the cherubim (cherubs), the seraphim (seraphs), and of unclassified angels (Hebrew malakhim; Greek ag′gelos) e.g. Gen 3:24, Genesis 16:7, Isaiah 6:2.
So there appears to be one chief angel, i.e. 'the archangel', plus seraphim, plus cherubim, plus other angels.
HOW MANY ANGELS, AND WHAT DO THEY DO?
There are innumerable angelic entities. (Daniel 7:9; Hebrews 12:22) They are are often organised into special groups and are given special duties (e.g. Matthew 26:53; Psalm 91:11).
Some are seen round about the throne in heaven. (Revelation 4:1,2; 5:11; 7:11)
Seven are seen standing before God and blowing trumpets (Rev 8:2), another offers incense (Rev 8:3), another flys though mid-heaven with a declaration (Rev 8:13), another four angels have a special task (Rev 9:15).
Angels also have many other duties.
They also sing praises to God (Job 38:7; Luke 2:13-15)

In Catholic theology there are nine choirs of angels divided into three hierarchies:
First Hierarchy:
Second Hierarchy:
Third Hierarchy:
For more information, see Bible references above and Related links below.
The archangels are in the 3rd Hierarchy along with Principalities and Angels. They are the 8th Choir; They carry God's most important messages to humans. They also command God's 'armies' of Angels in the constant battle with the "sons of darkness."
The hierachy in England during the 1550's was a monarchy ruled by King Henrey VIII.

There is no religious hierachy. Thus no king.
It depends on the type of hierachy.

Try to look on the Maslow's Hierachy of Needs
Because it has the least number of services, like telephone boxes, shops and pubs. so less people want to live there. Therefore it is a small place. Hierachy is when it is a small place. So a village is the smallest hierachy.
