If you ever are in need of a new computer, don't fall for alienware, cyberpower, ibuypower, apple or any companys like them. Apple charges 100$ for a 2 gig ram increase, when 8 gigs of ram is 40-60$. Alienware, the 4000$ alienware compared to a custom built of the same specs is about 1200$

∙ 6y agoComputers that run MS Windows often have unnecessary programs running in the background. One can disable these from starting when the computer starts.
Adding more RAM can sometimes help, depending on what applications are run. Periodically a disk defragmentation is a good idea, after emptying the trash and deleting temporary and unnecessary files.
