Everyone is different and the things that individuals need to know about any particular religion varies depending on what their expections are. However, most people would want to know some basic things such as: What they believe? How do they worship? Are their any rituals or special restrictions associated with this religion? Who is their 'Leader'? How are they financed? As an organisation have they ever been convicted of any illegal behaviour or associated with sexual or financial scandals? Jehovah's Witnesses never hesistate to talk about their hope or their religion. They are often seen inviting non Witnesses to attend their meetings and assemblies where any member of the general public can learn about what they believe. They regularly publish journals explaining their beliefs and their online website is a good source of accurate information about what they believe. Their headquarters are open to the general public where tours covering everything from their printing facilities, offices and even the living quarters of the volunteer workers are included. As in all counties their financial affairs are subject to the inspection of governmental authorities. Any financial impropieties if there were any would eventually fall into the public domaine and not hard to find out about. As for the behaviour of the individuals themselves, Jehovah's witnesses are very much a part of every community and usually identify themselves, thus when they work, play, shop, go to school... they do so in full view of those that are free to learn about them, not by hearing what they say but observing what they do and how they live from day to day.
