Knowing guys in general, when a girl plays hard to get, it makes us try harder to get her. However, if she's too hard to get, then we give up, get slightly depressed, move on, that kind of thing. If you really want to go out with him, just tell him that, that's all I can say. Believe me you'll feel much better if you do, even if he says no. If you enjoy playing with his emotions though, go ahead and play hard to get. Whether or not he'll go out with you at that point I'm not sure though...
