well first find out if she likes you by gettin one of her friends to secretley ask her . and if she dose just write her a note and ask her out .

Think about how you made your friends in middle school and do that. If by being popular, you mean you want to have a lot of friends, then be friendly. Get to know the people in your classes and talk to them about things they are interested in. Be nice and help other people out when you see the chance to do so. Above all, don't be afraid to be yourself!
