There are a few essential components needed to successfully set up a network for an office. The most important components will be an Ethernet router. The size of the router and the number of ports will depend on the amount of people that will be connected to the router. Ethernet cabling is also essential to connect the computers to the router. Connecting the router to a modem is also necessary in order to connect all the computers on the network to the internet.
Router
There are at least two ways. First, you connect the wireless router directly to the cable modem, and then the switch in the wireless router. You have to connect the cable coming from the modem in the wireless router internet port. Second, you connect the wireless router to the switch, again the cable coming from the switch you have to connect on the wireless router internet port. It's better to put the wireless router just after the modem, but it's not required.

You must subscribe to an internet service and have WiFi modem or router or connect an ethernet cable to your PS3 from a router or a Modem with internet service
You do not have to connect your router to your PC via ethernet cable, you can instead connect via wi-fi and your router must be connected to your hub.

A wep key is part of the wireless encryption and generally can only be found if you connect to the router management console. To connect you will need a wired connection and the proper username and password. If you do not have these you will need to factory reset your router to regain control.

Make sure you are in range of a wireless router. Go into "Settings" and tap on "Wi-Fi" at the very top of the Settings menu. A list of the wireless routers in range of your iPod Touch will come up. Find the router you want to connect to and tap on it. If you have set a password up on your router you will be required to enter this before you can connect to that router.
