To turbo a 5efhe your best option would be to Forged roads for a normal 5efe Forged Piston's for a 4efte Manifold to suit a 4efte turbo to suit manifold Downpipe to suit turbo Oil sump and oil filter housing off a 4efte 4efte rocker cover and inlet (makes pipework easie) Use engine loom from a 4efte and ecu from a 4efte Gearbox and shaft are of the same size the 4efte shafts have bigger cv joints on them.. This is the basic there is loads more you can do for more power etc :) Hope this helps
No, It will cost you $$$ to swap that it. The b16 is from Honda. You can go 4age 20v Blacktop, 4agze, 4age Slivertop, 4efte, 3sgte, 2zzge, or 1zzfe with supercharger. Those all depends where you live, emission wise.
No, It will only fit Toyota 4efe (starlet), 5efe(paseo), 5efhe(sera). 4afe is a different head.
94 and 97 are slightly different but will still fit non-the-less. More then likely you would also need the ecu that came with the 94 along with the wire harness. i don't believe the engine mounts are different but they could possibly be. regardless a little moddification can solve this. I swapped a 4efte starlet motor into a 91. all i needed was custom mounts, a re-worked wire harness, and the ecu that came with the 4efte engine. Ran like a champ.
Sounds like timing or fueling issues.
3e-e, 5efe, 5efhe, 4efte, 3ete, will all bolt up and be the cheapest. a 4age, 4agze, or 3sgte will fit with some frame modifications. basically you can put in any motor that will fit in the engine bay if you got enough cash.
exhaust and intake. that is a rule of thumb for most cars though. the better they can breathe, the better off they are. other then that tercel's were never designed to be performance vehicles anyway. there are many ways to add horsepower though. personaly the 3e is in my opinion a waste of time. i did a 4efte swap into a 91 and was very pleased with the finsihed product. i would do an engine swap with one that has alot more support for things like this. the 3e isn't going to give you much of that.
