hold recirculate air button for 3~5 sec.
That is actually illegal to tamper with Toyota mechanics.

If you have the same problem as I do in my 2001 Highlander, then press the button to release the belt, the button will stay in the pressed position. Then insert the belt clip. It shold fsten. I am not sure why this happened, but the remedy seems to work.
If you're looking for an inertia switch for the fuel pump, it doesn't have one.
On my 2008 Highlander, I started the engine and set the odometer to trip A. Shut off engine and restart while holding down the odometer button.

There is a button under the steering wheel press it in for about 5 seconds and the light will go out. Then your tire pressure is low it will light again check your tire pressure inflate then push the button again.
