Depends on the species but in general the minimum they will need are 1,a container to hold their water(as large as possible). 2, A heater and thermostat (set at the temp required for the species kept). 3, A suitable filtration system (again depending upon species kept). 4, A regular supply of food (again depending upon the species kept). I guess those are the neccessities. There are other things that may be required like lighting, substrate, aquatic plant species, rocks etc.( again depending upon species kept).
the fish needs a filter if tropical then a heater plants best not plastic oh and a friend to play with
It won't die, but coldwater fish have different nutritional needs from tropical fish. It just won't be as healthy as it should be with the proper food.
Any tropical fish can get cold. A Betta needs to be kept at around 75F to 80F.
No it is a fish and all fish are cold blooded. It is however tropical in its needs and must be kept above 70F.
you can tell by the labal at the pet store you get it from and also by the temperature of the water in your tank. for example,a goldfish is not tropical. therefore it needs cold water. a guppy is tropical,so it needs warm water
Concientiously. I research the species I wish to keep and then provide all the requirements the specific fish needs to thrive.
Well, it depends. If it is a tropical fish it needs tropical flakes. If it is a betta fish it needs betta pellets. If it is a algae eater they need algae chips. If it is a fresh water fish it needs fresh water flakes or pellets or goldfish flakes or pellets. They all like freeze dried blood worms as a special treat! It is good to feed a variety of fish foods! Good luck!
No, catfish is not a tropical fish.
Yes, it is bad to put tropical fish in with river fish. The river fish can make the tropical fish sick.
No, a betta (fighting fish) is best as a solitary fish due to aggression, but their needs are also different with a betta needing tropical temperatures
You obviously did not do your homework when it comes to the fish you have and their needs. Sucker fish do not eat poop or rubbish. (No fish does that) They are tropical fish and they are algae eaters.
Yes, a siclet is a tropical fish
