Their actually very simple to replace. The only exception being the #8 because the bolt is a little tricky to get to. To remove the wire you will place your finger under the connector and push up, this will release the clip and the wire will pull off. Then you will unbolt the pack and pull it out. After this you will need to blow the spark plug hole out with compressed air because sometimes they packs fail due to water or moisture getting down there. You can try your luck at this point and re-install the pack if you wish. When installing a new one you will notice a groove on the top of the lower boot. Using die-electric grease coat it well and re-install. There is nothing to seat, just insert the pack and bolt it back down and hook up the wire. This is a very common problem with Fords and as I own an 02 as well I do not know if they have been improved on newer models. With the exception of the #8, they are very easy to replace and I have heard shops charge as much as $300 to replace them. The #8 just take a little patience but it's not bad.
You can replace the clutch master cylinder, on your Ford F250 7.3 liter super duty truck, by first removing the hydraulic line. Next, unbolt the master cylinder. Reverse the process to install the new master cylinder.
200
Take the cylinder out and soak it in lacquer thinner or just replace the cylinder. A new one should be about $20.
If the problem has been getting worse over time than it is your clutch. If was sudden, then it is your slave cylinder. Also, the slave cylinder will usuall leak fluid when it is bad. If your not sure and nobody else is either, replace the slave first. It is farely cheap and super easy to replace. I hope this helps and good luck!
