The 250 Chevy I6 was not installed in the 1965 Chevy and did not come out until 1966. However here are the specs for the 250 which someone may have installed in this truck.
Spark Plug Gap - .035 AC plug 46N
Point Gap - New .019 Used .016
Dwell Angle - 31-34
Timing - 6 degrees BTDC
Firing Order - 1-5-3-6-2-4
If you have the 230 Chevy I6 which is what was installed in the 1965 then the spec on it are.
