Reflecting telescopes are clearer according to scientists. These are the ones with mirrors. You could use a bunch of mirrors and reflect them to the same destination and procure an excellent picture.

An astronomical telescope typically contains two, sometimes three, types of mirror. A large concave mirror, usually a paraboloid of revolution, whose purpose is to intercept and concentrate as much light as possible. A plane (flat) mirror to deflect the image to a more comfortable operating position. A convex mirror is sometimes used to reflect the concentrated light, now travelling forward towards the focus of the (large) primary mirror, back again so it can pass through a hole in the center of the main mirror. Note. All the above refers to reflecting telescopes. A refracting telescope contains no mirrors.

What telescope collects light with a mirror?

The type of telescope is called a reflector. There are multiple subtypes of reflectors like a dobsonian, newtonian, RC, etc. Check out my youtube video on how to work with pictures taken from a telescope. youtu.be/M7-vLeVhM9g

What type of telescope concave mirrors to gather light and view the image?

Reflecting telescope. Most useful reflectors are compound types, combining a system of mirrors and lenses, such as the Newtonian and Cassegrain.

What type telescopes use mirrors to bring light to focus.?

Reflectors - the main two types being Newtonian and Cassegrainian.

What uses a lens and two mirrors?

Reflecting TelescopeA reflecting telescope uses a lens and two mirrors. The lens is positioned at the eyepiece, and thus the focus, which the two mirrors generated by specifically redirected light. There are two types of reflecting telescopes with one lens and two mirrors, the Newtonian Focus and the Cassegrain Focus.

Do refracting and reflecting telescopes use visible light to view the images?

Those terms are most commonly used for optical telescopes. However, the same design can be used for non-visible frequencies; for example, radio telescopes of the "satellite dish" variety are essentially reflecting telescopes.

Name two types of curved mirrors?

Two types of curved mirrors are: concave and convex.

Where can a compact can be purchase?

Compact mirrors are quite abundant in many different types of stores. Locally, compact mirrors can be found in a makeup store known as Sephora, Target, Macys, and Norstrom.

What does a telescope reflect?

A reflecting telescope is an optical telescope which uses mirrors to bring the light to a focus. The first one was designed by Isaac newton.

How does a reflecting telescope similar to a microscope?

Both are designed to allow you to see more clearly something that you cannot see directly. Both use a combination of mirrors and glass lenses to produce an image. We typically use a periscope to look around corners, while a telescope is primarily used to magnify the image.
