1. Phototrophic nutrition , the organisms which have ability to convert the solar energy (light energy) into food energy are called phototrophic nutrition.

2. Chemotrophic nutrition, their is mode of autotrophic nutrition in which light is not used as the source of energy for nutritional requirements.
