United Health has contacted CCCS colection service in & the credit bueau for unpaid services of 2004. My wife paid the amount by credit card back in 2004. Our lawer tells us that there is a time limiit. is this true ?

He is correct in New York it is 6 years. If she paid it by credit card she should be able to get a copy of the statement showing she paid it.
There is a time limit called the statute of limitations on collections, which is usually 7 years. However, if your wife paid the bill, this whole issue can be resolved by showing the credit card statement indicating payment. If you don't have the statement, contact the credit card company.
