The label command lets you set or change the 11-character label of a drive. The vol command only displays it, along with its serial number.

A monitor that displays only one color (and black or lack of color as the contrasting color for the background) is known as a monochrome monitor.
It is not possible to change your name using a command, that function only works on mobs. There is a way to change your name but only for a small while in a server with plug-ins.
You can use the DOS command MEM to show total and available memory, but it only shows the memory for the process that is running the command shell. It will not show the memory in terms of Windows, nor will it work at all for Windows 7.
The -d option in the ls command is used to list the directory itself rather than its contents. When you include -d followed by a directory name, it displays the directory's name and attributes instead of listing the files and subdirectories within it. This is particularly useful for retrieving information about the directory without delving into its contents. For example, ls -d /path/to/directory will show details about the specified directory only.
