2LTR should be chain driven
Please can you tell me where are the timing marks for vauxhall 1.9 diesel
i have a timing chain on my 52 plate 2.2 diesel vectra
Timing chains have no scheduled replacement they are designed to last the life of the engine. Timing belts have replacement intervals
Yes, a 2010 Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 diesel has a timing chain, not a belt.
The timing of the injection pump may be off.
63000
The V6 engine in a LS2 has a timing belt with replacement intervals at 100k miles
Yes, every 120,000 miles
Timing chains are designed to last the life of the engine unlike timing belts which require replacement at certain intervals.
The 2002 ES 300 has a timing belt. Replacement intervals for that belt is every 90,000 miles.
Hi mate I have a Vauxhall Meriva 1.8, 2007 and yesterday I took it to my local dealers and noticed that the period for replacement of the timing belt on my type of car (which has the same engine as yours) had been reduced from 50.000 miles to 40.000 miles. So the answer to your question regarding replacement of timing belt intervals is every 40.000 miles. There is also a time limit like 4 years but I am not certain of this but the 40.000 miles is certain, regards Jim.
This question is incomplete. It depends on car year. Discuss this for more info.
