One Person: Try to unhook the top at the same time in both sides. Then from the center of the front of the top, push up and forward when needed to. Then clamp it and put on the boot if you have. To close, press the lever inside the car and pull up on the same side and leave it resting while u go to the other side and do the same. Then go inside the car, back seat, and grab from were you pushed to open but now push up and pull back when needed. Then sit in between the two front seats and close both at the same time. This is to asure that it wont get out of shape and have leaking problems in the future.
Two Person: Same procedures but just with another person. Time yourselfs and do the procedures.
buy a chilton's manual, and it will be in there. your local vw dealership service dept should be able to print one out for you... I have, and am currently researching this issue. The Chilton's manual (I have a copy) does not reflect correctly the '86 Cabriolet. These were built in the Scirocco facility (years '85 thru '93 I believe). For correct wiring as well as other issues with your '86 VW Cabby purchase the "Volkswagen Cabriolet, Scirocco Service Manual" from Bentley Publishers.com, Stock Number VS93.
Procedure is correct.
desribe the correct tighting procedure for the wheel bearing

Would you mind to close the door. Is it correct English to use it? "Would you mind closing the door." is correct. Well, "would you mind to close the door" is an incorrect sentence. "would you mind closing the door" is correct. Because when you "enjoy" or "mind" are always followed by -ing. Since your sentence include "mind" you would use closing. Actually' would you mind closing the door'? is a question, and mind is a verb followed by a gerund that's why you need to say' closing 'instead of' to close'
