The rules of Ramadan are for the Muslim person to not break his or her fast until sunset, to not say anything wrong as in cursing or saying anything mean to another person, to not look at anything or anyone doing or is inappropriate, to pray all the prayers, to read Quran, to be kind, to not watch television, and to be generous and help or give others in need.

Simple, you would do what you normally do. But since you are fasting (no food or water during the day), your meals will have different times. Breakfast would be at sunset, there is no lunch, dinner is usually 2-4 hours after breakfast, then there is an "extra" meal only in Ramadan called "Sohoor", it is in the early morning before sunrise.

so in short, instead of having 3 meals during the day you will have 3 during the night.

A lot of Muslims try to refrain from doing sin to get the most reward from their fasting. they also do extra worship because in Ramadan the reward is 70 times more than the rest of the months, but it is not a must.

no drinking or eating between sun-up and sun set, no sex and 5 prayers per day, then after sunset a person of Muslim faith will eat and drink to their hearts content until the next sunup, then after the duration which is a month, everything is back to normal.
