Not necessarily. Most guys after hearing something like that need time to digest it. If after a couple weeks has passed, tell him again and ask him how he feels about that.

I suggest that you give him sometime to think about how he wants to respond to this new information, and if he still hasnt responded to you maybe you can suggest to him that its okay to still be friends and that you wouldn't be mad and just wanted him to know that's how you felt, so he doesn't feel pressured and end up making a decision without his full heart behind it. well first of all if your partner is even thinking about cheating or telling you their ideas about cheating you should not trust them to begin with. so if they tell you they would not say a word to you if they did it, i would take it as a bad sign. since a person who says that most likely would cheat and i take it as a bad sign. and you have to trust some one if your with them otherwise you have no chance at all.
