Yes. As long as the stamp was issued after 1867 and is still unused, it doesn't matter the denomination. It is still postage.
The first US stamps were issued in 1847. The 5 cent stamp with Benjamin Franklin can be purchased used for $715. Unused the stamp can be purchased for $4,500.

I do but I can answer your question. SORRY
44 cents today (May 2009) for a standard 1st-class stamp.
Edward Vernon Rickenbacker. Rickenbacker was at the time said to be credited with 26 victories, but today is often said to have 28.Frank Luke was second with 21, all destroyed in seventeen blazing days of combat before he was killed. Luke was the only American airman awarded the Medal of Honor while the war was still going on. Rickenbacker was awarded the MOH in 1927.
Fender used pine which is hilarious in today's standards. I've heard that George Beauchamp and the guys at Rickenbacker made the first ever guitar using a single 2x4 piece of wood and wound the very first single coil pickup using a washing machine.

Scott #2277 sheet Scott #2279 coil Scott #2282 booklet The stamp can still be used for 25 cents of postage if it has not been used. And that is probably what a dealer would be willing to buy one from you. Unused you can buy one of these for $1. Used they are only .15 cents and a dealer probably wouldn't pay you for it.
