That Craftsman charger uses a 500 mA (1/2 A) fuse available from Radio Shack for $4.00- a 4pak. Be aware that the fuse blew because something else wasn't right.
check the fuse in the charger but your battery could need replaceing
I may or may not be able to repair a battery charger depending on what is wrong with it. I would check the fuse and the wiring. If it is not something visible, then the parts will probably cost me more than a new battery charger and I will throw it away and get a new one.
The battery's in the trunk, what's under the hood is just a fuse box and terminals to jump the car.
What fuse is the fuel realy fuse in a 2006 dodge charger
The fuse for a craftsman tractor is located at the back of the ignition switch on a lead or wire,it carries a 20 amp. fuse.
There are two... One is under the hood RIGHT FRONT and the other is in the trunk right rear by the battery...
In almost all cases the answers NO. All chargers have a safety cut off, where the battery is fully charged, or the amps are the same in the battery as the charger, the charger wil shut off to prevent over-charging and damage to your battery. touching the 2 ends ( + & - terminals) together will simply give you a pretty spark, and reset the charger. depending on wot kind of charger u have, it may take time to reset automatically, or u may have to push a "reset" button, worst case is u may have to open the charger and replace the fuse inside.....
Blown fusable link? Yea, it's the fuse. You need to connect the charger directly to the battery next time.
There are two. One is under the hood on the passenger side. The other is in the trunk next to the battery and spare tire.
Before you do anything drastic, check the bike to see if you have any accessory outlets. These are usually connected straight to the battery, most often with a 5-7 amp in-line fuse. If you have one, you can connect a trickle charger or battery charger putting out less than the fuse rating. If you do not already have an accessory out let, you will need to install one, either direct to the battery, which entails removing the tank on the R1200c/cl/clc models, or you could find a spot to connect to the fuse panels, located under the left side body panel. http:/pokiespageszperiodzcom and http:/chromeheadszperiodzorg are two excellent sites for information. There is no fuse in the unit itself. The fuse in the charger in in the plug.
