WHAT are H1N3 symptoms?
My grandmother got H1N3 and ended up in the hospital the day after first showing signs of flu. The second day it escalated to double pneumonia and she was put on a ventilator in the ICU. She was in a drug induced coma for a few days then they weened her off. If she hadn't had her flu vaccine (the vaccine doesn't currently fight against H1N3 but still gives you some generic antibodies that help fight it) the infectious disease doctor said that she wouldn't have made it. It is now a week later and she is expected to get out of the hospital today or tomorrow. New version of H1N1...my friend has it :S she got the chills at started coughing up junk and got a fever

Variations, and here is why: This is a difficult and fun question to answer! Let's start with a definition of 'symptom', for the purposes of this discussion, to include both objective signs and subjective symptoms. By that definition, then you could say that there are two types of symptoms: Those… that are objective and those that are subjective measures of any alteration in normal bodily function and metabolism, or alteration in senses, sensations or mental functioning and status. So that could lead to a list of those two types of symptoms of symptoms that could (perhaps) be measured for change, which would include things such as: Objective: vital signs, labs for body chemistry and other lab or imaging studies and objective measures of the function of the sensory organs or mental status. Subjective: alteration in sensations or mental status that are subjectively quantified or described by the patient, or interpreted by another without objective criteria. . Therefore, one conclusion would be that the symptoms of symptoms are the presence of either: . Any deviation(s) from the norm in the measurable objective signs of any disorder or disease, or . Any perceived change(s) in mental status, communications, emotions, sensations, pain or function of the senses, as observed by the patient or by others in their presence. Finally, what follows then might be that the symptoms of symptoms are variations . ( Full Answer )

The Symptoms of pregnancy are 1.) Depression... your goat will look, act, and eat as if she is depressed or in pain 2.) Get used to running your hand down your doe's spine to check the ligaments and the raising of the tail-head. Once you no longer feel the ligaments and you can practically touc…h your fingers and thumb together around her tail head, the doe will probably kid sometime within the next 12 hours 3.) The doe's tail head is noticeably raised. You can practically put your fingers all the way around the spine right before the tail. Feeling the the tail head and ligaments are my main warnings that kidding may happen sometime within the next 24 hours. 4.)"Far away" look in the doe's eyes. Eyes wide. The whites of eye may get slightly bloodshot. 5.) Pawing at the ground (making a nest). A doe can start doing this many hours before kidding: they can do this all night long only to kid in the mid morning (ask me how I know). When a doe starts pawing a lot, I keep checking on her knowing she could kid anytime, be it in 1/2 hour or 12 hours. 6.) Laying down, getting up, laying down, getting up, laying down, getting up.... It's really hard to get comfortable when you are really pregnant and going into labor. 7.) Long clear string of "goob" (mucous) hanging from the doe's vagina. If the goop is amber, it is amniotic fluid, and kidding should happen very soon. (Note: The doe can start having small amounts of opaque white discharge a day, a week or even a month before kidding; this is the "plug"). 8.) The doe's udder in full and tight. Some people refer to the udder getting "shiny" or "glossy"; this would be because if the udder getting full and tight, and thus the stretched skin becomes shiny. Be aware that though it is most common for a doe to "bag up" before she kids, she could wait until the last minute or even not really start "coming into her milk" until after she kids. Every doe is different. . Note: It's always good to have Mo' Milk Mix on hand just in case the doe kids without milk or without enough milk to feed her kids. This is an herbal formula I formulated to aid in milk production in lactating animals. . 9.) The doe starts drifting away from the herd. You don't want her having her kids hidden off in the woods somewhere; you might want to go ahead and put her up in the kidding stall. 10.) The doe becomes more vocal. It a doe is normally quiet and all of a sudden starts making little sounds, it may be a good idea to put her up in the kidding stall. 11.) The doe may start talking to her babies before she delivers them. 12.) The doe may do a lot of stretching and/or yawning. (see photos below) The stretching can be the doe trying to get the babies in the correct birthing positions. Stretching along with tail arching are actually contractions. I've never been able to figure out the yawning. 13.) The doe may become more affectionate toward you. The doe may even start licking you. It is okay to let her do this. Keep in mind this does not always happen. 14.) The doe may become more afraid of you or not want you to touch her. If the doe is "wild" she may get really wild as she gets closer to kidding. Other examples: We had a doe who was always extremely friendly but decided she did not want to be touched a few weeks before kidding. In the middle of labor, as we were assisting her, she changed back to her "old loving self". 15.) If the doe does anything that makes you say, "Gee, she never did that before." 16.) Acting weird. We have a doe who's only sign of labor is acting slightly odder than usual. ( Full Answer )

Clinical symptoms T he Bluetongue virus causes disease in sheep, cattle, and other ruminants. even though all ruminant species can be infected by the bluetongue virus the clinical signs of the disease are usually restricted to domesticated breeds of sheep. Other animals such as goats and ca…ttle rarely show any symptoms. However, a relatively high number of cattle have been affected during the current outbreak in Northern Europe. In sheep, Bluetongue Disease is characterised by a fever that may last for several days. The virus mainly affects small blood vessels and this can lead to reddening (hyperaemia) and swelling (oedema) of the lips, mouth, nasal linings and eyelids which may result in lameness. The animals may also have quickened breathing and nasal discharges, excess salivation and frothing. As infected animals may not show clinical symptoms, Bluetongue Virus may spread into new areas without necessarily being noticed. ( Full Answer )
