The WLAN swith is in different areas depending on the PSP version you have.
PSP 1000: If you are holding the PSP system correctly it is on the lower left side of the PSP.
PSP 2000: I believe it is in the same place as PSP 1000.

You need a wireless router. You go to settings, and click on SCAN. Turn you WLAN switch on. (The switch on the left side of your PSP) It will find a wireless access point, and you have to put in your WEP code if there is one. After it tests the connection and it works, go to the browser section of your PSP, and click Internet Browser. Then click on the bar and type in www.google.com. Then it should connect to google, and you can go anywhere from there. Have fun! Also try visiting ww.pspthemes.com you can download themes for your PSP home screen and pictures. Its really cool.
