some conductors are copper, iron, gold, water, aluminum, steel and silver
There are some metals which do not react with water. Metals like Silver,Gold,Platinum, copper,Mercury and non metals like Hydrogen do not react with water.
The molecules of copper sulphate solution mixes with the water molecules due to diffusion thereby making the water blue.
gold,silver,copper,coal,rock,plastic,water
Some non-magnetic metals: aluminium, copper, lead, tin, titanium, zinc, brass, bronze, gold, and silver
By dissolving the silver nitrate in water, then stirring finely divided copper into the water. The copper will displace silver from the silver nitrate as a solid and form copper nitrate in the solution.
After awhile the silver will turn into copper because silver is originated from copper
The colour of silver metal in water is whiteThe colour of copper nitrate in water is blue (due to the Cu++ ion).
Silver
Yeah it does. The equation would be silver+hydrochloric acid=silver chloride+carbon dioxide+water
Silver crystallizes on the surface of the copper as it gets absorbed into the water
Silver nitrate does not precipitate in this case; elemental silver does. In this reaction, silver nitrate reacts with copper to form elemental silver and copper II nitrate. The silver, which is a metal, is insoluble in water.
The water gradually dissociates the copper sulfate, and copper ions in solution are blue.
3% or less copper. Silver kills bacteria, Copper kills algae
it has to be placed in alcohol first because lipids are soluble in alcohol but not in water.
from what I've seen, if the reaction is being done in distilled water, then the copper attracts the silver nitrate to it and the copper gets a thick film that is very easily removed and leaves tarnished copper looking bright and brand new.
Galvanized pipe will be silver/gray color. Copper will be copper. Use a magnet, it'll stick to galvanized pipe but not to copper. Drinking water lines should not be black steel pipe.
