No. In 1787 he was 81 and he was in poor health, so in the election of 1789 he declined, not to mention that it was generally assumed Washington would take the presidency. He died before the next election.

In 1787, during the Constitutional Convention, Dr. Franklin had to be carried on a chair with poles by a group of men each day to the proceedings because of his very painful gout. Our first President, George Washington, was elected in early April of 1789. Less than a year later Franklin had passed away. We need to remember that he was quite a bit older that the other leaders of the time - 26 years older than Washington.

Therefore it is reasonable to state that Franklin was not seriously considering a run for President.
