yes being that Ferris was the city that bricked the nation .. it was very popular in the early 1900's . story is , is that the levy flooded and people couldn't get across to vote . it could be rumor but its the story that we have always heard . Palmer and Ferris being the major brick companies Bristol would have been the Austin of Texas !
