Cain was the son of Adam and Eve.

Answer:The claim that Cain was the son of Satan is a Christian claim and this is wrong. According to the Tanakh, Adam was Cain's father.

Physically speaking, no he is not. Adam is the father of Cain. But Satan is his father, spiritually speaking. We are each from God (Jesus) or the devil (Satan), depending on who we are or choose to live for.

No, Cain was Adam and Eve's son.
Gen 4:1 Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, "I have acquired a man from the LORD."
--------
But figuratively, in attitude & action, Cain DID indeed make himself Satan's son... **1 John 3:8-12 says: "The one who does what is sinful is of the devil...

This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister....

Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother’s were righteous.(NIV)
**John 8:44 says: "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."(NIV

)(Acts 13:10)

No, the Scripture and the Hebrew make it quite clear to a reasonable person who believes in allowing The Bible to interpret itself (Exigesis and not Eisegesis). To blanketly state that it is from a particular faith is not fair as people of several faiths (including Satanists) accept this idea which gives them 'special knowledge' of the Scripture - though Christians outnumber other faith adherents and will have more 'wayward' interpretations.

In short then, to state that Cain is the child of the spiritual being ha Satan is a "stretch of the imagination" and is what their whole interpretation of Eve having sex with the serpent entails. Indeed, this put it another way is a perfect example of eisegesis.
