Yes! she was insane. she was abusive, which could have been a mental illlness, or she liked to play evil mind games. But people like that noramally do have mental issues. Meshae Cleveland's Answer: i do not think she was ever diagnosed with any mental disorder. But in the books it does say that she was an alcoholic and so was his dad.
