The Blue Max was the Prussian Order Pour Le Merite. it has not been awarded to servicemen- and was restricted to Commissioned officers- since World War I. The order was NOT restricted to the Luftwaffe, as the movie seems to imply ( I am referring to the George Peppard film) name derives from German ace Max Immelmann, who did not survive the war. Rommel ( Army) and several submarine commanders did receive the award in World War I. there were tonnage priority lists for the Submariners- so many thousands of tons of confirmed sinkings were in effect merit points. for the Luftwaffe- Twenty confirmed kills for fighter pilots ( an allied Ace only required 5 confirmed downings of enemy craft) Ace is not, of course an award or military rank. the Blue Max was a high decoration. the badge took the form of a Maltese Cross- with the motto Pour le merite- For the Merit, and four Eagles in the interstices.(regardless of service branch). there you have it. do NOT confuse with Iron Cross which in World War I was a minor decoration. both have Maltese cross -eight point, design.
The duration of The Blue Max is 2.6 hours.
The Blue Max was created on 1966-06-21.
MAX Blue Line was created in 1986.

Modern Sociology: Emile Durkheim Karl Marx Max Weber
Karl Marx and Max Weber are two sociologists who had a significant influence on the development of the social-conflict approach. Marx focused on the role of class struggle in shaping society, while Weber highlighted the importance of power and inequality in social relationships.
Max Weber's ideas were not necessarily an exception to Karl Marx's, but rather a different approach to understanding society. While Marx focused on economic factors, Weber emphasized the role of culture, politics, and bureaucracy in shaping society. Weber's theories on rationalization, authority, and the impact of religion offered a unique perspective that complemented Marx's work rather than contradicting it.
