George Washington was an icon and a hero to the citizens of America when he led their army to victory against the British, thereby forming a republic. Some say that he had a negative impact on society, but with all the facts we are able to agree that George Washington was faithful to his country, he was loyal to his army and he was an icon and a role model for future leaders to follow. It is only fair to say that George Washington cared about his country and he did a great job of leading it, through good times and through bad, he stuck with his plan the whole way through and his men gained confidence from him. When the battle was getting tough and the soldiers were getting tired George Washington only raised his hand and his soldiers trusted him so thoroughly that they would fight harder than ever. After hearing all of the plain facts it seems impossible to say that George Washington had a negative impact on society, in his time and in ours.
