Yes and No, they had the same human blood because they were cousins, and they both preached the Truth, which isn't done much even today. John was a Priest, Yeshua-(Jesus) became the High Priest. They both died for their belief which is Truth! But that's about where it stops.

Were Jesus Christ and John the Baptist the same age?

The direct answer to your question is NO. John the Baptist was not born of a virgin like Christ. The angel Gabriel visits Zacharias while he is duing priestly work in the temple. The angel tells Zacharias that his wife Elizabeth will bear him a son and call his name John. The angel informs Zacharias that his son will be filled with the Holy Spirit from birth. (Luke 1:13-15). Because Zacharias does not believe the news of the birth of a son, he is deaf until his son is born. Like Christ, John the Baptist was filled with the Spirit from birth. However, only Jesus was born of a virgin and was sinless. John the Baptist had a sinful nature just like us and had to believe that Jesus was the Christ (Messiah). Jesus had a heavenly father and John the Baptist had an earthly father like all other humans. Jesus was the exception.

Who batizied Jesus?

The Person who baptized Jesus was John the Baptist( Jesus' cousin) and when John baptized Jesus, God, His father came from heaven and told the people who Jesus was ans what he would do. God is the only real God who is Jesus' father and who is also Jesus Christ. its a bit confusing :) but Jesus Christ is the only true God and if you don't believe in him and ask him into your life then you may not live in eternity. (heaven)

Jesus Christ. Really. There is no Pope-like figure of all Baptists. This is because of the teachings of The Bible, such as the Priesthood of all believers and a direct releationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ the Son.

Was John the Baptist as important a Jesus?

well, he wasn't the savior, but he christened the savior, which is basically like the vice-president to the president, sort of. "Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Matthew 11:11According to Jesus, John the Baptist is more important (greater) than him (Jesus was born of woman, Mary).

Who is John the Baptist?

John the Baptist was the cousin of Jesus Christ. His mother Elizabeth was Mary's sister. He was chosen to be the announcer that the Messiah Jesus Christ had come. He called himself "A voice crying in the wilderness." He introduced Christ to the world as "The Lamb of God that taketh away all sin."John the Baptist was the son of the Priest Zachariah husband of Elisabeth, cousin of Mary mother of Christ. Like Jesus, John the Baptist was also conceived miraculously.Luke 1:7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.Saint John the Baptist (lat. Sanctus Io(h)annes Baptista, heb. Jochanan ben Sacharja, Arab. يحيى Yaḥyā or يوحنا Yūḥanna, aram. Yohanoun) (died c. 30)[1] was a preacher and ascetic who according to Christian tradition, attracted large crowds on the banks of the Jordan River, suggesting repentence and baptism in view of the imminent coming of the Kingdom of God.[2] Jesus was one of those whom he baptized. He was killed by Herod Antipas, whom John had denounced for his (incestuous) marriage.[2] Jesus' own ministry followed John's, and some of Jesus' early followers had previously been followers of John.[3] John, like Jesus, preached at a time of political, social, and religious conflict, and he prophesied that fire was coming to destroy the wicked. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_the_baptist
