∙ 13y agoJesus is said to have lived around 2000 years ago, while Muhammad lived about 1400 years ago. So, Muhammad came after Jesus, just as prophets of other religions came after Muhammad. Islam says that Jesus was a prophet of Islam who came before Muhammad, while Christianity rejects Muhammad and says that Jesus was not just a prophet, but the son of God.
However, the fact that Muhammad came after Jesus does not make Christianity obsolete in the eyes of Christians, any more than the arrival of Jesus made Judaism obsolete in the eyes of the Jews. Each is credited with founding a new religion, and those who wish can follow Muhammad or Jesus.

Muhammad was not a descendant of Heavenly Father: Allah did not have any children, so is not the same God. The authority of the ultimate heavenly King was passed via birthright to his (literally) begotten son, Muhammad is not of such a lineage and, to Christians, is inferior.

Timing aside, Jesus is considered a prophet to Muslims. It is ironic that the 3 major monotheist cultures who share the same creation story (and the SAME GOD) are constantly at war with each other. That is NOT HOLY to Christians or Jews or Muslims. The claim that God or g-d or Allah is on "your" side die at the alter of truth.
