Of course if bush says there is, then there must be tidal waves in New York. But now Obama has controlled the oceans so much with is 900 billion bucks that there can't be a tidal wave.
Hope this helps,
Yes, a tsunami can hit New York, but it is highly unlikley. Because of the way tectonic plates are shifting, not many earthquakes happen in the Atlantic Ocean (earthquakes are the epicenter of the tsunami). The Atlantic ocean is actually shrinking because the Pacific Ocean is expanding (tectonic plates are spreading) and thats why more tsunamis hit asia. Actually, tsunamis can hit California, but where the ocean is growing is closer to asia, so when the 360 degree wave spreads, it breaks up in the ocean because of the longer distance to travel to California. So the answer to your question is no.
Potentially. Tsunamis are rare in the Atlantic, but they can happen and there are concerns for the potential of a tsunami to hit the East Coast.
I don't know but if it would you should move inland if your near water
It is very possible, but unlikely. Tsunamis and earthquakes usually hit around the west coast.
There is no way of knowing that for certain but it is highly unlikely.
The Earthquake occurred before the tsunami as it is what caused the tsunami.
tsunami's happen underwater and seismic waves happen on land or underground.
It is impossible to predict when a tsunami will happen until it is triggered.
The tsunami of Sumatra happened on December 14, 2004.
