Pocahontas was a nickname for the native girl named Mokota who was intrigued by John Smith. After she saved him from getting his brains busted, they became close friends. Later, he was injured and returned to England, and she was told he was dead. She married John Rolfe at 16, and several years after he brought her to England to meet with King James and Queen Anne. She never had a royal hearing, but she did wait on the queen as one of her ladies. She met up with John Smith again in England when he learned that she was about to move back to Virginia. During that time, she called him "father" because that was the way she felt about him, and she said that he should call her "child." It was only several weeks later that she died in England.

Yes
Simple historical inaccuraccy- the real life Pocahontas saved John Smith's life by interceding with her father to spare him, and befriended her, but did not marry her.
She in fact married an English tobacco planter living in the West Indies named John Rolfe in 1614, bore him a son Thomas the following year, and in 1616 they travelled to England for her to be presented to the court of King James 1st. She converted to Christianity, and changed her name to Rebecca.
When Rolfe and the rest of his family returned to the West Indies in 1617 she remained behind, but died in the March of that year aged only about 21. The cause of her death is not known- it may have been TB, smallpox, pneumonia, or possible poisoning by English racists, but it was NOT of a broken heart at being seperated from her husband as legend tells- she CHOSE not to go back to the West Indies with him, and he always planned to return to see her before long.
She is believed to be buried in St. George's churchyard in Gravesend, but the exact site of her grave is not known.
The Disney film probably made her marry Captain John Smith out of convenience- the film was aimed at a young audience, and the producers may have felt that having Smith then leave the picture and her go on to marry somebody else would have been too confusing for small children to follow. But it nonetheless shows a shameful disregard of historical fact, and can hardly serve to properly educate the young!
