I cant answer definitively, but my mum always told me that only one bomb fell on Preston during the war, and that was just a lost pilot on a bombing run over Liverpool who got lost and got rid of the last load to get home
The lack of bombs is surprising when you think Preston had the Docks, Fulwood Barracks and the ROF around the area (especially the ROF)
