Was Princess Diana and Prince Charle's wedding set up by her parents?

No it was not. The relationship between Prince Charles and Princess Diana, as well as their marriage was not set up by her parents. They met when he was dating her sister when she was 17, but several years later they were involved with each other with very little help from outside help.

According to some things I have read he noticed her after his great-Uncle Louis Mountbatten was assassinated and Diana told him that she thought it was sad that he looked all alone at the funeral. They became an item after that, and from things I have read his grandmother (the Queen Mother) her grandmother (Lady Fermoy) and Charles' then ex-girlfriend and current "friend" (now wife) Camilla Parker-Bowles all had a hand in helping the relationship along but none set up the relationship.
