The dome of St Paul's, presuming you mean St Paul's Cathedral in London, was pierced by several incendiaries on October 9th 1940. At one point, an unexploded bomb was removed from the roof at incredible risk. While this was the most significant bomb-related event at the cathedral, it was not the only one.
