Yes, it was located at Bayfair Mall long before the actual mall was built.
I use to go there as a little girl. They had a great candy counter that were kid friendly, I remember saying to the candy lady "how much can I get for 25 cents?" and they would patiently weigh it out and show me! They had a fun little old fashioned cafe with red swivel bar seats and great ice cream Sandwiches!!! Oh, they always had a full window display of tiny little turtles in a large pond you could buy for like $1 back then! I use to love going there.
