Yes. In the 70s, anorexia wasn't considered an illness. Cast members noticed she was never hungry but never really worried about it. Nobody knew what it was. At the height of her illness, she weighed 90 pounds, stopped menustarting, and her skin began to turn noticably orange from eating only carrots. It was only when her fellow cast member on the Partridge Family, Danny Bonaduce, grimaced when seeing her in a bikini and said "you look disgusting" that she knew that she had a serious eatign disorder.
