Dog and cat medicine are products sold by DVM Pharmaceuticals. These drugs can range from joint medicines for cats with arthritis to heart worm drugs for dogs at risk.
Medicine cats can't have mates because it gets in the way of their connection with StarClan.
Medicine cats cannot have mates or kits. They must see everyone in the Clan equally.
Human medicine is not always safe for cats. Cats have different metabolisms and sensitivities than humans, so it is important to only give them medication prescribed by a veterinarian specifically for them. Using human medicine for cats can be harmful and even fatal.

Human medicine for humans, cat medicine for cats
Well, male cats cannot obviously have kits. In Warriors, it is the same for male and female medicine cats. They cannot have kits whatsoever. EDIT: It also says medicine cats cannot have mates.
No.
Well...for one thing, normal warrior cats can have mates. Medicine cats cannot, but some of them have a mate anyway, but not purposely. (Example: Leafpool, Yellowfang...) Warrior cats are pretty much what keeps the clan on its feet though. I mean, you can't have a leader and a medicine cat and make the best out of it. Anyhow, warrior cats do have unfortunate cases. Unlike medicine cats, if they're found on another clan's territory, they're most likely going to be driven back, sometimes after a fight. They hold loads of responsibility, but none like the responsibility of a medicine cat's.
