in my own personal opinion: No
they style was very 'laid back' and 'thrown on'...
the style back then looked like it was being used for painting a room now-a-days
but then that was the style and the big craze at that time and although it looks 'not very thought out' i think thats the look we were all going for back then.
it wasnt as big of a deal as it is now.
in the 80's fashion was big then! it was very popular but after having a decade of high fashion it settled alot.
who know's really? its your opinion really, there is no right or wrong answer.
hope that helped ?? let me know :)
Fashion Police - 2002 Flashback '90s was released on: USA: 19 October 2012
Early '90s
Fashion has not changed a lot since the '90s. The subcultures punk, hip-hop, skater and hipster did exist back in the '90s too. Emo and scene fashion is something new (around 2003) though.
A common trend was something called "90s grunge". It was a lived in, almost messy look. Heavy with plaid, flannels, doc martins, levis, and bed head.

Fashion since the 90s has seen a shift towards more minimalistic and sustainable designs. There is a greater emphasis on streetwear and athleisure styles, with a focus on comfort and functionality. Additionally, there has been a rise in the popularity of vintage and retro fashion trends.
