The crossing took 3 months and it could be rough depending on the time of year. Ships were blown off course ( this is how the Pilgrims landed in Massachusetts), they could sink, or have other problems. Travel never was easy in this time and was always dangerous.
Sur Oceano Atlantico is hard to explain how to say it
The middle colonies (next time just look in the textbook. It's not that hard)
not in their natural habitat because there isn't an ocean in N.C., but you could find them in pet stores. ...there's an ocean near N.C.....the Atlantic Ocean....so yeah duh. kthanksbye
um i dont know its a hard Question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
because most of the land is landlocked which makes it hard for the ships to get threw
Yes, clams are found in the Atlantic Ocean. Various species inhabit its waters, including the Atlantic surf clam and the hard clam, which are commonly found along the eastern coast of the United States. These clams typically live buried in sandy or muddy substrates in coastal areas.
I exactly dont know, its a hard question :( TIP : ask ur geography teacher or someone who knows it
Yes, it was a little hard getting to the new found land. First people had to come up with the cost of travel to the new land, and then they had to survive the long trip across the Atlantic Ocean.
It has everything to do with the position of earth related to Saturn. As the earth reaches its crest in its orbital pattern, the Pacific ocean ships are given a steady headwind that allows the sea level to not interfere with ocean travel. Likewise, at the far peak of the orbital pattern, the Atlantic ocean ships are given aforementioned headwind. It's a hard concept to grasp, but think of it like this: When you drop a feather and a bowling ball at the same time, they, in theory, will hit the ground at the same time (when in a vacuum). This can be applied to such a scenario because the weight of the Pacific ocean is far inferior to the ships' cargoload, thus making the Atlantic ocean also useable at this time.
Historically, there are four oceans: Atlantic, Pacific, Arctic, and Indian. These oceans are recognized by almost all oceanic organizations around the world. It is the standard classification that is held by National Geographics. Technically, there is only a single ocean: the world ocean.
It would depend upon where you plan to cross the Atlantic. Between Newfoundland or Nova Scotia Canada and the UK the actual over water time would be about 3 hours. If you were to cross from Miami to the west coast of Africa it may be as much as 9 hrs.
In some colonies it was hard to grow crops because the soil wasn't fertile enough or the climate temperatures were too harsh.
